Joma Sison is now defying the government on murder raps being filed against him. The charges will reportedly be based on the affidavits by the widows of former communist leaders Romulo Kintanar and Arturo Tabara. The widows are accusing Sison of personally ordering the killings of their husbands.

These killings happened only within the last decade, and the CPP-NPA has claimed responsibility for them.

Sison himself admitted that Kintanar and Tabara were suspected by the CPP-NPA as government agents, and that the communist group considered as acts of the revolution what they have done to the two party leaders.
