a. Contingent – competing or guest participants of SINULOG 2010 Grand Parade on January 17, 2010. Picture must be group dancing the SINULOG and not of a solo dancer.

mura wala pa na. buanga ako man ta to picturan tong mga winning shots didto sa SM ubos. nalimot pa jud. tsk tsk tsk.

Saw the winning entries sa SM gahapon... they were all GREAT though some entries violated the rules that were set by SFI, like the higante/float category and how the images should be PP. Some were overly done, some if not all used the photoshop filters/plug-ins like posterize ug pag pa hamis sa nawng(hehehehe), pwede bana ma buhat by film?? if pwede then i rest my case... hehehehe

Well i hope next year there will be revisions on the guidelines and rules and these must be strictly implemented. Para mu lambo ang sinulog festival and ang photo contest and the photography community sa cebu. Maybe a half day seminar/orientation sa mga contestants (w/ free snacks... hehehehe lisod na ma pasmo) and judges must be present during the grand parade.

Congrats sa mga naka daug... next year nasad... we got a whole year to shoot and tigum to shop! hahahahahaha...

yes, it shall be good to limit equally the number of photos to be passed and no option for add-up for such valid reason/s.



i remember when i passed mine, an officer from there personally checked my photo and commented on the paper I used that its very thin. he didn't know that its a professional-level paper, resin coated, and curl resistant. i have thicker(larger gsm / thicker than usual papers used in photo labs) papers here but they curl and not resin coated.

maybe soon someone will pass a laminated entry^^

sir im a newbie in photography and sinulog photo contest.. but sa akong opinion mas naa man cguro advantage ang mu pass ug more than 10 entries, mas e-consider to sa Sinulog Foundation kay mas dako clag nakwarta ato.. ako lang ni opinion sir, but, wala ko nagmahay nga ni apil ko and wala ko makadaug coz for me, Halad man to nko sa STO.NIñO ug nalingaw ra sad ko sa pag take ug shots.. tho' havent gon' for a workshop ever since, but lingaw jud ang experience as a photog...

and lastly to all organizers og Sinulog Photo Contest.. e-categorize lang pud unta nila ang contest sama sa mga PRO, amateur, newbie ug uban pah.. para dli pud tanto lugi ang mga bagohay bah...

yes, it was really fun indeed. i love the adventures i experienced(first time^^) from dawn till dusk^^

didn't notice though anyone sour-gripping here since what they meant have points too(except their so called metallic paper of which i believe its only a satin^^)

anyway, as they said, it is a good idea if the entries next will only be limited to 10-best-of-your-photos.

10 lang jud unta cguro dapat sir noh? para pud unta fair bah..
