AMD = Uses double pumped FSB ( 2x ) does more IPC ( Instructions per Cycle ) to get the real FSB just divide the rated FSB by 2. 3000+ / 3200+ so on and so fourth is AMD's performance rating this is used to denote that it can perform better than na competitors stated 3ghz or 3.2ghz. AMD doest need that much of a FSB bandwidth as it relies on its on die memory controller to compensate for it, most single core AMD processors come in 512k or 1mb L2 cache, 2mb for dual core

Intel = Uses quad pumped FSB ( 4x ) does considerably a lot lesser IPC, since Intel chips do lesser IPC it needs a huge FSB badwidth and the quad pumped bus delivers this needed memory bandwidth, Intel comes with a 1MB L2 cache 2MB for dual core

1.57 is quite dangerous for your processor specially 44c nya idle pa, how much is the full load temps? im guessing around 52 ?
