ummm..my sapphire Ati x1550 was not listed on their compatibility list of cards but it works fine...so i decided to get an Ati card again...i need a newer dx10 cards for upcoming games..i'm fine w/ minimum settings as long as i get a good fps..in that way i can save a few pesos for a good p.s.u.( next on my list)..maybe its a wise idea to bring my rig to the shop as what you guys suggested..but problem is..i'm on a wheelchair right now and still recovering to walk back again.. i only ask my nephew to run to the store to buy me some stuffs i need on my pc...B.T.W. thanks for all your inputs and suggestions...

A number of PCIe 2.0 video cards will definitely NOT work on such mobo. The TS should worry. Better that he check first by actually testing the card first for compatibility before buying.

I ran a HD 4770, a 9800GX2 and a HD 5770 on my PCI-E 1.0 x16. However I have heard reports of HD 5770 not functioning in a ASRock G31 Board.
