depends man sad sa case na bro, if wrong orientation sa capacitor sa manufacturer or supplier na siya, adto yaw yawan og sakto hahaha, anyway very seldom ra mahitabo ng wrong orientation, naa mana quality control upon manufacturing,

isa lang gyud akoa masulti DONT TRUST ON GENERIC PSU, mopalit kag motherboard worth 2k, processor worth 3k, hdd worth 2k, videocard worth 3k, tapos paresan lang nimo pakapin psu sa case? pila worth ana 400 petot? 800 petot? pagka imbalance ana hehehe,

usually d nako mosalig ana generic psu, mao na naka cause on the spot ni aso dvdrw, gisunog akoa wd 1tb caviar black, gisunog akoa videocard, au gane kay 7300 gt ra to, mao ni cause nganu giguba ang audio chip sa isa ka mobo, mao ni cause gisunog ang south bridge chip
and daghan kaayo ko experience nga dili maayo using generic psu, so isa ni sa akoa masulti nga cause nganu madaot or masunog ang mga capacitor.

wrong orientation (electrolytic), wrong specs & aging (causes deterioration in cap specs).. reason pod na for blown caps.

Naa sad cguro katungod ang Munfacturer nga mo balidad kung blown capacitors or any electronic damages mga bro ui kay lahi lahi man gud ang power supply nga gamiton or ang quality sa PSU.

Ingon ana jud na ang kasabutan kay dili man set ang imo gi purchase nila. Basin unya gitaoran nmo ug defective nga mga PSU or other devices. Naa cgura na cla certified PSU manufacturer.

@dmelsie: Bro I talked to ASUS before about blown capacitors from mobo they said vendor or supplier are obligate to replace the mobo jud. My opinion, di mana negligence sa owner ngano ni burot ang capacitor kundi sa quality na sa capacitor gi provide sa manufacturer so then the vendor or supplier should replace that.

@TS: Anyway contact your vendor for warranty or replacement.

but mao sad ni prob, kasagaran sa mga user dili mobasa sa manual especially ang enclosed LIMITED WARRANTY INFORMATION. if imo na basahon naa gyud naka printa diha about physical damages voiding your warranty but naa sad mga exceptions na, example kana powersupply nikalit lang og buto, niya wala nimo gi open, all warranty seal are intact, no external damage, pero if imo lilion nay busted na capacitor, kana murag mada pa na kay mahug manufacturing defect siya, imagine bag o pa kaayo nikalit lang buto

@dmelsie: Mao na ako i consider ug una nako basahon when buying any items labi na computers. So I would know the warranty. I know its case to case basis pero like what I said manufacturer na jud na sulti ana nga if ever naay case about bloated capacitors consider defected na and most likely not caused by the users.

ako hibaw.an kasagaran ani na cases kay ang psu jud ang culprit. ayaw nalang jud gamit generic as much as possible. ako i have learned my lesson na. sunog ako psu sauna may gani wa nadamay ang uban. lisod na kung maamong imung uban parts na mahalon tungod lang sa baratuhon na psu.
