YES. i agree. Even some of their douche sounding bands sound better than their american counterparts. Overall, the European bands tend to be more CREATIVE.

Maybe the only place that's not really all that diverse but still produces a lot of acts is NASHVILLE (Tennesee) ... but who cares about Country Music anyways.Â* Â*

Mainstream Nashville may not be diverse but there are lots of underground act sa Nashville (those who belong in the americana, cowpunk, and alt.country). Plus when you talk about country music, i don't care most of what mainstream Nashville has to offer. I prefer bands from Oklahoma( the red dirt scene) and Texas(progressive country).

Pero nowadays you can get country music anywhere naman with diverse influences. Like there's even a bluegrass/newgrass band in Alaska(Bearfoot) and Chris Thile now lives in New York where his band Punch Brothers combines jazz, bluegrass,country, classical, and radiohead all rolled into a 40-minute piece(The Blind Leaving The Blind).

i agree.. european bands play soulfully than american bands... with due respect sa mga americans, they make good music but if u compare them to european bands, u can tell the difference...

I think depende ra jud na sya sa banda. Pero i love most Celtic bands from Europe(particularly Ireland and Scotland) and Rebetiko/Rembetiko bands originated in Greece

We're talking about musical bands as a whole.. dili ra Metal. Although ako sab, my fave bands are mostly from Europe (UK to be exact), I don't think that geographical location has anything to do with a band being melodic or not.
