yeha... jazz and blues originated in the US but for me euro metal bands is better than US metal bands. ionno...

i also love swedish hardcore and viking metal.

We're talking about musical bands as a whole.. dili ra Metal. Although ako sab, my fave bands are mostly from Europe (UK to be exact), I don't think that geographical location has anything to do with a band being melodic or not.

American bands are also good bai Ezra, like the eagles, REM, rush(canadian) , tom petty and the heartbreakers , but in general mas daghan man gud ka og choices sa europe compare sa america bai, og mas creative gyud sa europe.

Jazz actually evolved from the slaves who were brought from africa-where i mentioned earlier that rhythm originated... and the U.S was just a colony of england before... anyway the father of jazz is Bach... the father ofduring the barok miusic... i know my music....

i do agree that euro bands are more melodic (coldplay,radiohead,travis,U2 og uban pa..)
on the other hand, american bands are more pop..

pero dili ko uyon nga mas tasteful ang euro bands sio... tymingan lang jud nga walay nindut ang banda sa america ron...

dunno. but i do love a lot of euro players. specifically sa metal na scene. luv their taste and goosbump factor...

europe has richer musical heritage...
