Since moon race occurred at the height of cold war, if moon landing was a hoax, why is it that USSR never bother to expose it? Scandals, expose', intrigues and conspiracy were common occurence during that time..

the following are just a few of the accusations and counter-accusations made during the cold war:

1. Oswald linked to the KGB? kgb denies..case unsolved.

->US accused USSR of shooting down the plane.. USSR denied..then later acknowledged it..

->3rd, USSR accused US of espionage but now with the ultimate evidence..they showed the captured pilot.and his confession of espionage..US was embarassed..US finally admitted..USSR made a direct dent on US credibility for having lied for so long..

so why did the USSR never made any accusations of "moon hoaxing" against US? simple, because their own instruments (up there in space) told them that US astronaut did step on the moon..
