    *
A woman’s chances of contracting an infection, (for e.g. herpes) from her male partner, are higher during her periods.
    *
*** during menstruation puts a woman at higher risk of pelvic inflammatory disease (there is already pelvic infection, and will lead to worse case which is inflammation)
    *
A woman is also more likely to pass on other blood-borne diseases such as hepatitis- B or C to a partner during her period (the woman has already hepaB or C in her blood stream)
    *
A woman is more likely to develop yeast or bacterial infections like candidiasis or bacterial vaginosis because the vagina's pH during menstruation is less acidic. (yeast/bacteria from the male pubic hair, especially if wala nanghugas ang male)

    *** during menstruation

tanan imo gi-post, it is assumed na naa na STD present, even in small amounts.. either from the woman, or from the man..

pero if clean of any disease ang both partner, there is no risk at all..

    from NIV

19 " 'When a woman has her regular flow of blood, the impurity of her monthly period will last seven days, and anyone who touches her will be unclean till evening.

    . . .

30 In this way he will make atonement for her before the LORD for the uncleanness of her discharge.

pero you can pretty much connect the dots..

19 And if a woman have an issue, and her issue in her flesh be blood,

30 and the priest shall make an atonement for her before the LORD for the issue of her uncleanness.

naa ra na nimo kung musunod ka sa gisulti sa religion nimo or dili.. you're not forced to have *** during menstruation just because medical science has shown that its perfectly safe..

diba nothing is exact in science? siguro sa pagkakaron makaingon pa sila nga "safe" pero wala ta kahibaw in the future naa silay madiskubrihan nga dili safe during menstruation. paabot lang...

huh? kinsa ba hugaw ug huna2x dre.. ang Bible man mismo gasulti na hugaw ang babae kung ga-mens sya.. meaning, ang Ginoo mao hugaw ug huna2x diay.. layo ra kaau na sa "don't talk to stranger na analogy" oi.. kaklaro anang generalization.. ~ any woman with her blood is unclean..

sorry bro, but when I have children, di pud ko musugo nila na walay explanation.. mao nay cause sa misunderstanding, kay walay explanation whatsoever..

mao nay kapaet sa Bible.. don't ask ngano, basta mao na na.. that's blind faith.. i dont buy into blind faith.. maybe you do, but i don't.. so pag-solo lang diha sa imong style.. dictatorial man na na style.. you're also saying that the Bible is for kids who cannot understand explanation kay wala man butangi ug explanation sa ginoo..

so, also, you're saying na you still see your girlfriend/wife na unclean kung gi-mens sya? di kaha sya ma-lain kung makahibalo siya na dili diay na tinuod?

I don't think it is even correct to say that the Bible is scientifically accurate, kay di man na xa based on a scientific method, nor does it have any standard units of measurements or instructions for repeatable experiments. it does state observations which may have some truth into it, and modern science has been able to demonstrate the validity of some of those truths but in a more concrete and specific (and scientifically accurate) manner.. the Bible is kinda vague on that, because its symbolism or language being used is not standardized, but based on cultural beliefs and superstitions.

but i'm not saying that one is wrong and the other is right..
the Bible and Science can both be correct, but its being presented in a different manner.. science has its ways, the bible has its scripture.

Agree w/u bro.. like a magick in theory and practice hehe....
