    Best Yes Album: Tormato
Rick Wakeman was still the keys and Jon Anderson the vocals.

Some of the best Floyd songs were inspired by Syd being gone. Waters was a genius but he got 'too big ' for Floyd. Gilmour and Waters may seem close but in they have some seemingly irreconcilable differences(based on the book Pink Floyd).
I agree that Pink Floyd may be 'different' post waters but It seems that it is for the3 better...more of Gilmour's melodic soloing shines through....in fact it may be the factor of their resurgence in the Y2K's. Division Bell for some reason is one of my favorites next to Wish You Were Here and Dark Side...

Duanne era Allman Brothers Band: Arguably the Best Southern Blues Rock Band. Get a load of the slide guityar riffs. OK Lynyrd Skynyrd follows. "Can you smell that smell?!?!?!"...hehehe.

@ aquafire: Tormato is also my all time favorite YES album. Great keyboards/synthesizer by Rick Wakeman. A real Masterpiece. Steve Howe is also a superd guitar player. So many complicated licks.

Duanne Allman for me is the greatest Slide Guitar Player. His guitar parts at "Live at Fillmore East" is truly amazing. His side project with Eric Clapton (Derek and the Dominos: Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs) is full of melodic riffs.

By the way, I just bought Peter Frampton's Now album. It still a good one but his best work so far was Peter Frampton's Come Alive.

@level42: di ba nangita kag George Harrison's Brainwashed album? Naa koy nakit-an sa Odyssey Ayala ganina bai. Murag usa na lang to ka CD. Palit na!
