Naa koy blues mp3 (SRV, BB King, JL Hooker, Willie Dixon, Muddy Waters, and many more...). Duna pud koy CD ni Buddy Guy with Junior wells on harmonica.
Unta mag-organize ta'g blues club, jamming dayon ug sharing sa atong mga blues resources/materials.
Whatsayyou guys?
BTW, there's a Blues Night at Kahayag every 2nd Wednesday of the month...
@ level42: I've heard 'bout Traveling Wilburys, in fact it's included in my wanted CD's list but i just can't find it. I'm also familiar with Jeff Lyne since he used to work with Eric Clapton. BTW, what's your fave G. Harrison's album? I like "All Things Must Pass" and "Concert for Bangladesh"
@serpentboy: nice idea! what instrument do you play? i play guitar.
@strat60 - I play guitar, but not that good. I'm trying hard with blues harmonica. Tried to organize a blues band before, medyo na busy tanan ma-o nga wa madayon.Originally Posted by strat60

lisod btaw kaayo pangitaon, ang wilburys, pero nindot kaayo volume 1 nila, kay kumpleto pa sila, whiles sa volume 2, patay na si roy orbison.....pero naay rumors, nga si olivia harrison george's wife, said that theyre going to re release it this year......I cant wait, mag tigom na pud ko wawarts para palit ko amazon.........the bad thing about that band is that they never went on tour, even if roy is still alive, but thats the beauty of that group for being so underated...... but what if they went on tour, they would have been the biggest band since the beatles, imagine, harrison, dylan, lynne, petty, orbison on one stage...... vol 1 won the international rock awards in i think 1990 beating u2 rattle and hum, g n r appetiten for destruction and bon jovis slippery when wet..........payter kaayo saOriginally Posted by strat60
my fav. george harrison record is All things must pass, the remastered edition......... grabe ka nindot na bai naa pa gyud bonus track katong I live for you, second ra ang Cloud Nine.........
by the way critics considered All things must pass by george harrison as the greatest post beatle record ever, imagine is second while paul mc cartneys ram is on third.......... awkward kaayo knowing that george was the most underated beatle..........but george will always be my fav. beatle, remember he wrote whom frank sinatra considered as the greatest love song of all time........
nindot sad btaw concert for bangladesh.....kta ko sa dvd, they are the pioneers before live aid, harrison clapton at the top of their game..... naa pud didto si pete ham and tom evans of Badfinger....... sayanga aning pete ham og tom evans nga ga suicide.......Originally Posted by strat60
pete ham and george harrison played here comes the sun........ grabe ang audience ana nga concert........lingaw kaayo sila.......29 years later na repeat na sa Concert fo George, mao mao ra gihapon ang lineup, na puno lang si Paul Mccartney......
@serpentboy: Blues traveller's harmonica player is quite good. I'm not that good in terms of guitar playing also although i've been playing for more than 10 years. Lately, i've been trying to copy old Clapton's and SRV's blues licks but i just don't have the time to master it.
@level42: You must be referring to the song "Something", right? I also considered "Abbey Road" as one of the greatest Beatles' album, next to "Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band" and "Revolver". By the way, how do you find Harrison's Brainwashed Album? Just in case you haven't read "Behind Sad Eye- G. Harrison's Biography", i recommend it.
@strat60 - Blues is easy to listen to but difficult to master.
Here Comes the Sun
