WHICH IS BETTER, canon 50mm 1.8f OR THE 18-55mm IS?

newbie sad ... based lang sa akong nabasahan. its about image quality (50mm) vs focal length flexibility (18-55 IS) ... your choice bossing. kung particular ka sa image quality, go for the 50mm. dont worry nga way zoom ang 50mm kay matud pas akong lolo, "the best zoom is your feet" kuno hehehe. but if flexibility imo giapas, go for 18-55 IS, there are places where you cannot move in/out (zoom for the 50mm) kay crowded, your len's zoom will give you the advantage.

pero i knw magmt jpn nko ang kit bsg nana koy lain lens...

so... i prefer my 18-50mm rather than the 50mm 1.8..

all of you sir gave me a great idea to think to... i think i'll have to make up my mind if whether I am up to the image quality or the focal length flexibility....

but sir, considering I already have my telefoto lens, the 70-300mm... which lens should i get next? kanang dili ko mabitin sir ba... asa kaha aning duha nga kanang dili ko mabitin.. kay nabitin na ko ani akong 70-300mm gud. which of these lenses should i prioritize first?

by the way, i always bring with me my cam where ever i go..nya bug-at ra kaau akong 70-300mm gud. unsa kahay bagay nku ani nga lens sir? anyways, newbie pman pud ko....


please advise.... considering my tight budget for a single lens only..

oy brad! nawala man ka kalit pag music fest.!hehe. anyways, mao lagi na akong gikalibgan ron bro oi, akong budget kay sakto ra para sa usa ka lens, nya either of these two ra pud... nindot jud btaw ang 50mm kay nice ang DOF... pero basin ma bitin ra nya ko sa length ba, kay 50mm man gud.. nice pud tong 18-55mm kay 18mm mag start...

yay!!! libog mode ko ani dah! but i'm starting to fall in love with the 50mm now...!~ tsk! if only i have the budget for both....... or might as well sell my 70-300mm?hehehe... para palit ko aning duha!.. yay!!!!

bro jerald.. for me lang.. i prefer 18-55 rather than the 50mm.. kay.. 18-55 sad has many advantages despite sa iyang flexibilty.. kit lens kay its a very good start dyud to master more sa composition,exposure etc. heheh.. dont think sa bro to updgrd prmi.. hehe as what the master told me.. our ever master Sir Pnoize " why mag upgrade ka?, unsa man imu purpose nganu mo upgrde ka? your kitlens will be a good start for you, dont think on updrgrding master first mga composition, unsay gamit sa imu nindot and fancy lenses if bati ang composition. so dont focus on updgrnd frst kitlens would be a good start. pra ma master nimo composition" weee.. kani na mga words gi timanan dyud nako prmi kay.. mao na na mga words na fell inlovan nako sa ako kitlens... bitaw.. aside from nag start cya og 18( pwde pagn landscape) 55 sad cya( medium tele?) so this would be ok bro jerald... heheh hope i can help sa imu dilema. hahaha prha dyud ta bro... pero.. stick to my kitlens dyud ko. haha.. practice sad dyud ko maayo.. sa composition pra kung ma master na dyud nako kay. dli nako mag lisud unsa lens ako ei upgrde... heheh hoe naka tabang ko nimo bro. hehehe
