    I'll go back to the Subject of the topic...

    Why humans believe in God?

    Seriously they believe on it just because of what they heard, what they've read and they want to go in heaven...they don't want to go to Hell...

    The sad part in here is that they just believe in God without even questioning if there is really God. Motuo ra sila kay motuo(kay tungod ni fader, pastor, bible etc.), asa naman ang capacity to rationalize given to us..... Ang nakasayop pa jud motuo sa pulong pero ang binuhatan wa gyapoy laro... Hmmm. faith without action is dead! Kung in ana man gani sama ra na sa "God is dead, you and I killed God...."(by Nietzche)

    Kaybaw na ta na naay laws pero padayon gyapon ta sa atong gibati..sama ra na na atong gipatay ang atong Ginoo....

    I will make it cute , short n simple . It defied HARDCORE THINKING of an ATHEIST . We are not talking about God here observed by the Christians but a SUPREME BEING .
    it defied the rational thinking of atheists in an irrational way.

    your next sentence goes back to bullet number one---which is, that if there is more than one GOD (if you weren't talking about the Christian God, then it would follow that there is another God), then who are we supposed to believe? how do you know which God to believe in? the point essentially is, that Pascal's Wager doesn't make sense.

    exactly. the more sad part in here is that every children on this earth are automatically born with a religion---brainwashed into believing there is GOD, and they bring it with them into adulthood. hence, to say "Catholic child" or "Muslim child" is completely ridiculous. that child knows nothing about religion, yet you coerce that child to become a Catholic/Muslim. that, to me, is a form of child abuse. why can't we wait til the child grows up and have his own rational thinking?

    That is the exact point of it . CHOOSING NOT TO and NOT BELIEVING in a SUPREME BEING are two VERY different entities .

    It does makes sense but in a deeper understanding . Like I said ... its not about God or gods . Its about a SUPREME BEING and its existence .

    Wrong concept na Chad . The best way to corrupt a person is when it is still in its INNOCENCE . Ok balik ta sa pagka KATOLIKO .... bisan pa ug ug KURAKOT ang VATICAN or mga PARI nato daghan na mga SEXUAL PREDATORS and we all know that , since when gi tudlo sa parents na Kristyano sa mga bata na if di ka mo tuman sa 10 commandments ok ra ?

    @FORCE DRIVEN ....

    Your statement implied only as a your PERSONAL OPINION . That didnt happen to me so it is not factual at all even though I am not perfect because it is baseless but just a mere opinion but then , nothing is wrong with that . SUma si CHAD ... how did he end up being an ATHEIST/AGNOSTIC ? For thinking about it right when the right time came for him to realize everything for him doesnt make any sense that a SUPREME BEING existed . Did his parents stopped him ? maybe , maybe not .

    so don't ever say just because GOD is beyond our limits that we then have to believe in him. you're making it sound like we don't have a choice.
    dude... there are ancient scriptures that God and Jesus exists... now, do you believe in Napoleon, Galileo, etc? ... they were mentioned in the books and we believe them... we havent seen there bodies but the remnants the left behind makes us think or conclude otherwise.

    ye You have your own opinion, I have my own point of views... I know that I am not perfect. Even though I have these beliefs I still believe in God...honestly, most of my beliefs were inspired in the seminary, if it's not for the seminary, I wouldn't have these kind of beliefs...

    yeah, i believe you. God and Jesus exist in the scriptures. in fact, they exist in just that, SCRIPTURES---nothing more than ancient play of words and a little use of fanatical imagination.

    corrupt the young minds as early as possible. baptize them in the name of GOD when they're still babies. it would be easy since they still can't think rationally for themselves. confirm them when they're 12 year old kids. prohibit them from questioning things, scare them, and say "don't question God because he will get mad!"

    i actually was referring to any supernatural being but more pointing towards the Judeo-Christian God.
