Those that were born before Christ or have never heard of Christ will be judged different than those that have heard of the Christ. Those that have heard his name and reject Christ will be judged hardest of all. It is a sliding scale, fair, just, and final.

by our fear of transgressing morality or the accepted norms, we have become docile like cows who readily follow a stronger person.. we never know even if we are being led to sluaghter..

one good example of this is what we call "in-group morality", wherein, a group of people of the same religion develop morals and sees "outgroups" as hostile. this is explicitly defined in the Old testament when God said, "Thou shalt not kill"---which really meant "Thou shalt not kill the Jews". another example of this would be "homogamy" (marrying somebody of the same religion).
