Garbled display when playing SOME games

My video card is Force3D HD4670 and I'm just wondering what could be the cause of this? Ni-try na ko'g install og different ATI drivers pero wa gihapon.

Kung moduwa ko'g Shaun White Snowboarding, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4, Need for Speed, etc. kay ma-garble iya display pero kung Call of Duty multiplayer kay dili. Kung moduwa ko'g THPS 4 sa una (karaan nga video card), dili garbled ang display pero karon nga mas nindot pa akong card, garbled na nuon. Wa ko kasabot ngano na.

Ni-try na ko'g search2x sa Google, but wala gihapon ko ka-solve ani.

Naka try pud ko ingon ana sa Warrock nako, sa video card man to nako naay problema, pero sa uban 3D games dili man ingon ana.

Tried replacing the drivers mao gihapon. So replace nako ug video card. Solve noon hehehhe...

Same brand and model ra gihapon imong gi-replace nga video card bai ug giuli ba nimo sa imong gipalitan ang card? Di jud ko malingaw sa laing games dah.

Kato man to sa una nako nga PC sa internetan with AGP video card, if naka AGP ko mo garbage siya, kung mag built in video ko walay garbage, then replace with other AGP cards with same specs (it was GF5500) wala man blema.

Pero ambot lang pud kaha if try to format the PC, basin naa lang blema and conflict with old and other video card drivers.

try installing or reinstalling that.

as for the TS: possible sad na overheating imong graphics card. try cleaning the heatsink fins and re-applying thermal paste.

I don't really think nag-overheat ni. Ok ra man sa Everest ug first jud nako gamit ani nga card, giduwa dayon nako nya garbage display ang uban games. I'm not taking off my heatsink (ma-void ang warranty).

Nag-fresh install man ko sa OS bai pagpalit nako ani.

if you know how to put it back, how will they know you took your heatsink out. if you didn't know, part of your warranty is the responsibility of cleaning your heatsink. kung di nimo limpyohan, negligence ilang pasangil sa mo thus, voiding your warranty.

I might do more harm than solving the problem.

Call of Duty 4 and NFS: Shift are both heavy games. How come garbage siya sa NFS? Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 is not a heavy game nya garbage gihapon ang display nya ang COD mas bug-at pa niya nya ok ra. Where's the logic on that?

Check the game's website and see if they have new patches.

and you don't need to take off your heatsink to clean it. use compress air to remove soot and dust collected on and around it. you only need to remove it if you're trying to replace the thermal paste or trying to re-seat it for some reason.
