if the Spaniards did not come we might have been colonized by the Dutch or the English. We would still know Jesus Christ

It all started during the first humans, when they saw something magical they worship it. That's how religion was created.

Another compelling point is, according to theists physicists: the k or constant in mathematical equations used in physics could've differ even 0.0001, human evolution is not possible. This leads to an idea of a designer behind the whole process of evolution...in which they conclude that the designer is none other than GOD...

I believe that is what is refereed as the "God Gene"
their is a lot of debate on this hypothesis.

this article looks at both sides of the issue and shows doubts in the God gene hypothesis debate
The God-Gene: Is Religious Faith and Experience a Biological Misunderstanding?

I try to be fair and balanced on topics. The concept of a God Gene is backed by scripture but is this science a good or bad science which holds up, is the main issue. I maybe Christian, but I am still a Biologist at heart.

Human consciousness cannot understand the Nature of God. Because of the limitations of our brains and our 5 senses, we can say that there is no God. Unless you have done your experiment, you cannot come into conclusion. That can still be considered a theory.

And if you have done your experiment, still you cannot come in to a conclusion, the Nature of God is very much different from the Nature of Man.

I'm glad it had been shown that it's perfectly normal to believe in a God.

Yes! it's all in the mind this God is- for now. I still got 40 plus years of ideal lifespan, unless I will die from something else..then I will know if there is God or not really..but I hope there is.
It’s funny how you think not believing in GOD is not normal. I wasn’t expecting that from you. And oh, believing in GOD is absolutely normal. Afterall, it’s our choice what we believe and not believe.

some hardcore religionists would claim that the frontal lobe responsible for this process is a “gift from GOD”. a circular argument that I’d really expect from the believers. The “everything comes from GOD” argument. hehehe.

that’s according to them, but what are your thoughts about the great design? These guys don’t know what they’re talking about. The evidence is clear, evolution happened and is still happening. Those who are against evolution just don’t wanna accept it because they keep a close mind and refuse to accept.

Care to elaborate how such is a bad science? If one may debate whether we cannot disprove the existence of GOD, so is the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

It’s funny you said that because the believer says otherwise. You said “you cannot come into conclusion” but then why believe in GOD in the first place when you don’t know whether a GOD exists or not? How is science different from the supernatural? If science base everything on theories, shouldn’t we do the same with god?
