I was raised Roman Catholic and when I was older and I read the Bible for myself, I began to see inconsistencies with those who also were suppose to have read the same book. Little things like.

Make no graven images, so what is with all the voodoo dolls
No repetitious prayers, Same sermons year after year, and the rosary beads
Bow before no man, Pope should have read that one
Call no man Father, what does a Priest ask you to call him?
And being told to prey to the mother of Christ, when Christ said himself, I am the way to my Father, only through me."

I became a Born Again Christian, as Christ directed we should do. God is not in a building, he dwells in your heart.

That's why I left the building of a corrupted Man's Church, and started following Jesus's Universal Church. The one that was in my heart all that time, who's temple is in your body.

Mary is His mother on earth but that was because she was appointed by God to conceive Jesus Christ. if i follow your logic, dapat nako siya i worship because she conceived Christ?.. so what happens to John 14:6 (Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.) dapat ba na i modify into Mary answered?..

the RC is supposed to be bible based so why do they ask us to pray to Mary to get to God?..

I am a RC and I have been asked by my girlfriend if I want to convert to their religion which is a non Catholic christian. I said no. Even if I am no longer practicing RC, that does not mean belonging to other religion would make me better.

I think we should stop all the hatred to other religious beliefs and stop all the stories saying that only their religion is the only way to true salvation and stuff like that. Come on guys, If you claim that you are more knowledgeable because of your faith and because of your time spent reading the Bible, then you should stop all the hatred. Don't say that Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation and not other religious 'idols' or that your religion is the only way because other religion do this and that which will contradict the Bible. Most of us even used to saying phrases like 'Oh my God!', 'Sosymaryosep!', and some other similar phrases which also contradicts the Bible's teachings.
How about those non-Christian people? Are they automatically exempted from being saved because they do not treat Jesus Christ as their God and instead follow Muhammad their prophet and worship Allah their God or some other forms of God?

I know religion is essential for a community to unite for the good but don't you as a believer or as the faithful think that there is really one and only God and in whatever form He may be worshiped by each group, He would be given the same respect, love and praises by each group?

kung sincere ka, i'll accept that. just don't judge people who are not into Jesus Christ as their way to salvation(I am also a catholic by the way). you or any human being should not judge who is saved and who is not. you will be contradicting your faith in Him. God bless us all. thank you.
