maayo pa status quo para walay gubot. daghan pa kaayo problems dapat atimanon sa gobyerno like drainage, road repair. besides, we don't really need another mall at the moment. wala pa man gani nagamit kaayo ang IT park. Keeping the Camp as is can help prevent flooding pa gani kay daghan trees diha sa sulod.

maayo pa i-develop sa provincial government ang mga towns para ma disperse ang development. kung naay development sa mga towns ang mga taga probinsya didto na manarbaho, di na kinahanglan mo commute ug punsisuk sa syudad.

the transfer of the camp was long overdue. status quo on the move is not the solution. the solution is to materialize the transfer w/o politicizing the whole issue.

this marching order from PGMA came as far as 2007. the reason for the military's side is they need a better strategic location w/c is Mactan. another reason is for the Province to get back the lots that they originally own, promote it for investments, while giving proper relocation to those affected. simply put, this transfer is for the benefit of the constituents as a whole.

yeah, daghan pa kaayo dapat atimanon sa syudad like drainage, road repair, garbage, etc. instead of politicizing issues like this. You should ask Tomas that question. dili lang unta basketball board ang daginoton...

solution to what problem? what is so urgent about it?

a matter of kilometers difference, that can't be considered strategic. investments? the province can invest in towns where it is most needed. the towns need infrastructure, disperse the malls. the city is already saturated. if they develop places outside the city, it can generate jobs there, lessen traffic.
what's going to happen to the buildings inside the camp? the transfer of the military to another site will cost billions just to replace the structures they are leaving behind. that money could be spent somewhere else.
unsa man na si GMA hatag-kuha man? mo-award sya ug lots sa mga Apas resident and then kuhaon ra man diay niya. walay klaro.

wala na lang gyud unta na hilabti ang camp lapulapu. daghan man ta laing properties sa province na puede nila magamit. it all boils down to business

As I said in the other thread, Capitol just wants to make money (even if it has P1Billion sitting in BDO), without any clear plan on how it's going to spent for the public good.

Makes you wonder what's going to be the next money-making venture. Entrance fees to the Capitol bldg. perhaps?

reminds me of Fort boni...and housing plans for the soldiers then... FVR sold the almost all of it... somebody gained.. and others... well unlucky them...

some of these people have been occupying the lots for more than 30 years... ilaha na na supposed to be... and under presidential decree...

    pity...

i think gamay ra man ang crime rate sa brgy. apas... since most of the "informal settlers" are families of military servicemen....

Luoy kaayo ang military sa sale sa Fort Bonifacio kay it was unta for their modernization program, what i heard is that most of the proceeds from the sale of the Fort Bonifacio went to the national government and gamay ra ang niadto sa military. nag-antus na lang gihapon sila gubaon na equipment kay gigamit ang kwarta sa laing project.
