Hello, Ex-Marine again. I am not wanting to be marked as a hero, an idol, I just want to live my life in peace. You see after being in the Marines and seeing many horrid things, a quiet peaceful existence is therapy for the soul. I just want to say something that should wake people up in this country, my country, for I am a Filipino. The system is not managed well, due to either, lack of funds, corruption, etc, etc,......There are many facets to the breakdown in moral attributes in a person, and in this country, it is the lack of opportunity as an equality measure. For instance, since industry is low in numbers, jobs are very low in numbers. So only the fortunate ones who get to go to college, make out with the opportunities to further escalate their existence in the work field. this is what makes criminals, for the most part. The other is just pure laziness and lack of parental guidance as these people grow up. We should be a proud people as before, but all we have is to follow others and not even know if its the right thing, or a good thing. Stand up Filipinos!!!!!!! Start teaching respect, good moral judgement, and pride in what we have to your/our children. And if you are one of the fortunate ones, don't forget where you came from, and help teach others to bring into this country a decency that will mesh our people as one, to be reborn to be actually a country for all its people, and not just the fortunate ones. To bring about this major change, is to bring peace and respect for others with equality in every level of people here in our country. The police is few in numbers, for there is a lack of funds, the mental awareness in pride to help one another as fellow country men, is due to lack of jobs and equal advancement. There are people who do not have the proper education that I would trust to do a better job than some with educational background, thats right, why should one be held down just because of his educational attainment, test them, offer the job to the person who can prove the right qualities, and not just because they are from a family with money or a name. Lets all band together as brothers and sisters to make the Philippines the once great nation it was before. And for all those people in the work field, who has made it to a higher position, don't forget, if it weren't for the work force, you wouldn't have made it to that position, remember where you came from.
