if wala na, let's proceed. you can run your memory at its rated speed by using 5:8 divider since you're now under the 333 strap, ang 1066 available na at the said ratio pero if you want to run it synchronously (1 : 1), layo-layo pa ka sa memory speed which is 533 MHz for 1066.

DDR2-1000 is only good if you're running it at CAS4, at CAS5 tabla rana DDR2-800 CAS4. yours maybe a little slower since timings are a little loose. there's a difference in performance (at least on synthetic benchmarks) when you set the memory at 1066 5-5-5-15 and moreso if you tighten the northbridge latency as well (Common Performance Level a.k.a tRD) so please take a memset screenshot.

if you're up to the challenge, make 533 MHz your front-side bus goal. this will put your FSB in sync with your memory which makes tRD a little easier to tame than using extreme ratio. 533 x 9 is highly unlikely for this chip but 3.2 GHz (533 x 6) is plausible. if you can reach these speeds, then we'll continue tightening memory and mch latency.

EDIT: (do not forget to enable advanced roundoff checking in Prime95)

    - if you want to stick with your overclock right now, run a In-Place Large FFTs. this will ensure that the processor and MCH are stable. i'm sure it'll pass because you haven't done any tRD setting, yet. if this test fails; the components to blame are usually just the CPU and Northbridge so the voltage that you need to optimize to are either of the following: vCORE, MCH CORE, CPU VTT, GTL Reference Voltage.

    - if it passes, proceed to a custom (blend) test, adjust the memory to use in MB. match it with the available memory on the system.

mao nani with in-Place Large FTTs

    with intelburntest
