Ritchie D. Nolasco is obviously blinded by her passion and dedication to these entertainer-wannabes!
So much, her judgment is questionnable. Nolasco is gradually becoming as annoying and as unrelenting like Catsteven Betonio (who is on the opposite side of the entertainment discussion - blasting local talents and even calling some of them "whores").
Nolasco - pro local talents
Betonio - anti local talents
To Ritchie
No matter how many pictures of "talents" you put on this thread, the truth still remains:
1. Education is still a priority, not the dreams of showbiz glitter.
2. People who finish their formal education have better chances of getting professional jobs - most of which pay much higher than most of those local entertainment jobs.
3. People who drop out of school don't realize the social and financial traps that await them.
4. People who drop out of school don't realize the consequences of halting their education until it's too late.
5. People who drop out of school end up getting low-paying jobs, which are not enough to help them survive in society.
As for those young people in the pictures, I only hope that they are staying in school. Dropping out is essentially throwing your future and your security away just for the sake of something worth less (in this case - Pinoy showbiz).
As for your words "It's just that school is an obstacle for young people to develop their talents and it causes them to miss the golden opportunities to become rich and famous overnight"
Let me tell you, and to all readers online, that
these "golden opportunities to become rich and famous overnight" are obstacles that can disrupt or stop the youth from completing their education.
