@ jhunric, if magpa RMA gani, use lang JRS - barato and dili jud abrehan - LBC has the tendency na abrehan for security purposes or basin na timing lang jud na naa nang hilabot sa imung HDD

I recently claimed warranty sa akong Seagate Barracuda 7200.7 120GB PATA.

Packed it sa Seashell case ug gi putos nako foam ang outside ani.

Sent it to that Fritz Company thru JRS (P 230.00 gasto sa freight from Visayas to Luzon)

Less than 3 weeks, the replacement arrived in a box the size of a 15" CRT monitor na unpacked.

Grabeh ela packaging. Tested the hard drive and works.

Of course, all your files are goodbye mao na backup gyud. In my case, installer games ang sulod ato so ok lang ma wala kay anyway, old PC games nato.

Ma track man nimo kung nadawat ba ang defective na gipadala nimo kay mura website nila, they will be asking for the serial & model no. ug taga-an kag "job order number".

naa tako ipa rma sa seagate mao ni ako gibuhat.
1. ako g check cover pa ba sa waranty ang hdd. (yes cover pa until aug 2012)
2. then ako g register ako item sa seagate site.
3. then ni file ko for return sa seagate website, ako g fillupan.
4. then gihatagan ko ug order confirmation no.
5. ok nani i send sa FRITZ ups sa paranaque manila? im noobsnoobs, 1st timer pa gud QQ

1. Since covered pa sa warranty nila, go ahead.
2. Correct, register the hard drive sa ilang website
3. Correct again, fill up the important details
4. Remember your confirmation number. You can use that to track your status after a week or two.
5. Use door-to-door delivery services para wala kay hassle.
