"Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal.
Matthew 6:19
"You yourselves know that these hands ministered to my own needs and to the men who were with me.
Acts 20:34
2 Thessalonians 3:8 nor did we eat anyone's bread without paying for it, but with labor and hardship we kept working night and day so that we would not be a burden to any of you;
1 Corinthians 4:12 and we toil, working with our own hands; when we are reviled, we bless; when we are persecuted, we endure;
Thats all nothing more I can say brad. You are asking the RIGHT question brad... thats good.
@ bro kebs, im not sure if nyour verses answer my question, but am i correct in saying that
God bless the unbelievers here on earth,,,buit will be punished in the after life?

why do you people have to argue with one another? if you dont believe that prayers work, then dont.
if you do believe in prayers, keep on believing and dont let the arguments get to you.
ive been keeping tabs on this thread and its a very interesting read. from another person's perspective, you guys are actually arguing over the technicalities of faith and prayers. what more, you all seem so eager to negate each other's statements. instead of a healthy discussion, it has become a series personal attacks. we all have different views in life and we all have the right to religion, or the absence thereof.
i think we're better off respecting each other's views and principles. the more you insist on a point to someone who has an entirely different perspective from yours...its more likely that your message will get lost in translation.
this is supposedly a discussion, not evangelization or desensizitation.![]()
