im an ex-digger mate, and i've been through hotter and dried conditions probably than you've ever been...

joining the cause will be great, and the chance to shoot some great subjects / scenes as an added bonus. not to mention that i'll be in my natural element, water... hehehe

and i do have a Zuiko 70-300mm ED lens

i remember when we got our dolphin watching in panglao bohol, around hundreds of tourist motored boats chasing hundreds of dolphins around 5am in the morning. it was extremely fun but seems harmful to the dolphins.

    bitaw correct.
when people think or see dolphins ila impressions are playful, gara which is somewhat true pud as seen on tv or in movies.
but in our case here sa phils is, harrassed ang mga dolphins due too poaching--for food etc. or accidentally ma snag sila sa mga nets then patyon nalang pud sa mga fishermen. so traumatic ila experience diri.
taas baya na sila memory ang extremely smart. same ra gud sa dog na mag dumot or mahadlok only they are smarter. katong makit-an ninyu nga mag-ambak2x are the juveniles or bata nga walay buot or gara ang paugat. compared sa katong mga scarred adults nga naa na experiece.
naa gani well documented sa bais strait nga sikat na kaayo iay name is Putol namely after his or her cut-offed dorsal fin or silik or balwis.

so lets be considerate in approaching them. I know some are all too eager and mean no harm but sometimes our ignorance pud baya are causing these creatures problems.

lets be educated about it nalang.
    tnx for your concern too
