I was in EDSA. The only remaining place we could camp out in was the lobby of the then Combank bldg., along EDSA and across the corinthian gardens subdivision. That's almost a kilometer away from the Camp Crame gate, but we'd go to the camp anyway, along with the rest of the crowd. For those of us who grew up under martial law, that was an exciting time...full of hope for a new direction. Unfortunately, 20 years later, well, we now see the result - same dog, different collar......
