ELO is power pop who happens to be a large band that resembles a symphony and add some symphonic elements..

Big Star maoy pinaka influencial daw sa mga modern power pop. I'm not sure pero mao man ako mabasahan. Ako mama naa plaka anang Big Star ug ELO sauna.

Herman's Hermit is a good band too. mura sila Jonas Brothers of the 60's.

John Paul Jones co-wrote and play some of Herman Hermit's song as session bass player

Jonas Brothers are ressurecting power pop to mass appeal kaso they're not that popular here.

Sa U.S mga girls nga teenagers ky murag maboang ana nila hehehe but behind the cute faces, musicians man jud na sila as evident on their acoustic shows and first album on INO (which is very raw compared to the recent disney endeavor). The INO RECORDS album was rereleased under INO/COLUMBIA with more production values ky kato pinakafirst jud sounds like an unproduced indie record in terms of CD quality

Countrykid - The Jonas Brothers is just POP.. there's no power behind it. And only one of them is a true musician... the others are just there for show. Honestly, the other two can step off the stage and it still wouldn't matter.
