My REAL IDENTITY IS ME ever before I was born and will ever die. Our real NATURE is this regardless of our actions good or bad: WE ARE SPIRITUAL BEINGS HAVING A HUMAN EXPERIENCE!
But our actions bro do define who we are. What's the difference between Mother Teresa and Mussolini? The decisions they made in their life. Of course, they're still essentially the same. They still share the same basic identity, that of a human being. But the decisions they made made them into a particular kind of human being -- the first a saint the second a criminal.

I agree. When we commit a morally bad action, it doesn't define us that way forever. We won't be criminals forever. That is if we choose to change ourselves for the better. And I believe that we can only change ourselves in this world, not in the afterlife, because only in a temporal world can we find change and situations that present opportunities for change, like challenges, personal problems, struggles, trials.

Yes but ABSOLUTE MORAL VALUES such as GOOD or BAD do not exist! There is no such thing as ABSOULTE GOOD or BAD in this world. Everything is relative in our world!
Didn't you acknowledge a while back that there are things that are objectively and absolutely good like love, justice, etc.?

The way I understand it is that Jesus is telling us to live our lives to the fullest, to make a difference in the world and in the life of others. Salt gives flavor, right? Well, we ought to live our lives in our own unique ways because each of us have something unique to contribute to the world, adding "flavor" to our own lives and those of others. Becoming "lights" of the world means we ought not to be afraid to let our selves shine before others. This light ultimately comes from God, and when we receive this light and allow it to shine for others, we give glory to God because people will see God through us, through our actions, through our lifestyle, the way we think and do.

Obviously, if he stayed there permanently he wouldn't have been able to tell us his story. But the point is that according to him there is a "place" after we die that is not actually a happy place. You were saying that hell exists only in this life. Well, according to him, there is a hell in the next life.

Yes, I believe it also means sharing the Gospel to others, in word and in deed.

These are some of the pagan gods (Osiris and Horus from Egypt, Bacchus or Dionysus from Greece, Mithras from Persia, Odin from Germany and Scandinavia, etc.)

All of us are gods symbolically in essence! Jesus said "You are gods"
You are overlooking the fact that the New Testament involves accounts that are literal and really took place in history with real people. Figures like Pontius Pilate, Paul, the apostles, etc., were real people and not mythical characters. The places where the events took place are validated by archeology.

And how do you explain all the similarities of the pagan gods of the Mystery religions before Jesus was born who had the same life and experience that Jesus had? Coincidence or patterned from them?

BTW, the four gospels (Mark, Luke, Matthew and John) are not the authoritative authors themselves according to Bible Scholars!

I don't know if they believe in History for if they don't then that is plainly ignorance of the truth!
