And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
Is hell therefore, a lake of fire?

hell a lake of fire? wla pamanta ka adto hehehe!
as commonly taught in varoius religions and culture, about a place of torment for the evil doers when they die. Christianity describes it as a place which burns with fire and brimstone. They say it's a lake of fire. I'm just wondering about Rev 20:14. If hell is indeed a lake of fire, why should it be cast to the lake of fire?![]()

In Greek interlinear its commonly known as HADES.

just click the word hell on this link and it will divert you to greek translation.
Hades is the counterpart or representation of FALSE CHURCH as being mentioned in Matthew 16:18
18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
In this verse God give a word already that the gates of hell shall not prevail against the Church of God to be build upon the rock. Its a comparison that everytime God will create Satan will create a counterpart.
Like gods, angels, minister, apostles are counterpart of devil also.

the belief in eternal punishment is found amongst many religions and cultures. it is being taught amongst christians and other religions alike.
is it for real? or a fear factor that is used to discipline people that grew into a strong belief over the ages and supported by misinterpretations of passages?
if there is such a thing as eternal punishment... whose benefit is it for?
the character of God as a god of love surely cannot translate to such an ordeal imposed on his very own creation whom He designed...
Hi junn,
Before I give you an answer, do you agree that God is:
1. All-knowing
2. All-powerful
3. All-good
Do you agree that God is perfect?
