i don't know where you get your rules in logic brad.. but what you quoted on my posts does not contradict at all.. why would i post something that would contradict my previous posts.. that would be silly of me to do.. please explain where na-contradict and how it is being contradicted.. your common sense may not be common to all..

i'm sorry, but you must be using rules of a different kind of logic.. those two posts do not contradict each other..

precisely why there are state laws prohibiting cloning.. personally, these laws are there to prevent abuse.. but if you ask me, if only all men were angels, we would not need these laws..



please don't get me wrong. a clone is different from the original in the sense that its brain will register a different set of experiences than the original. the human personality is largely defined by the experiences of the individual.. the only way a clone will be totally the same with the original is when they experience everything about them in the same manner.. which is very very unlikely..

take a look at identical twins.. they are in essence almost clones as they have nearly identical DNA.. but in reality, they develop quite different personalities because the *experiences* these two undergo are totally different also..

however, i cannot talk of actual human clones, because i do not know of any actual human clones to have a basis of comparison on.. but if you talk of sheep like dolly, i doubt he was pretty much the same with his mother.. the brain registers a different set of experiences.....

as for clones having souls.. egad! i am not even gonna start that.. im not in the position to debate who has souls or not.. i merely talk of simple brain activity, neurons recording memories in the brain.. that we can realistically talk of..
