a white lie falls in the "gray area" of things that's a large number of human society. but as a rule a lie is a lie no matter what words you prefix or suffix it.

(if naa nangutana nimo kung asa nag puyo imong amigo but then you know that the person looking sa imong amigo is to kill him but your answer is intentionally not in relation to his question although you are pointing the same name of a person.)
