White lies: are these ever ok in a relationship?

I think it depends on how you view things as far as "whilte lie" is concerned and to your perception of its necessity as to when, where or why you are going to do (apply) it....

in a relationship,
some people do it because they "need" to...
this "need" arises from many reasons... (it could be... fear, anger,.. or even love)

@ would you like to hear the truth even if it would hurt your feelings?
i would prefer hearing somebody telling me the truth even if how painful it could be... rather than the opposite
