Who will build an anti-virus that does nothing, anyway?

remember sa mga idealistic Mac/Linux brainwashed idealist: No system is perfect!
I think kanang anti-virus sa Linux and MAC is for the email/macro viruses.

Murag naay perfect na operating system. Na kanang u compile everything from scratch ang mga applications.

Second pa gyud safe ang Linux is that ang OS itself does not support Active-X or any application that can be executed remotely.

Give me the link or a virus for Linux. So that I can test on my VM OS.

Just following katong sa mga Linux security measures like not using you're root account on you're daily usage, always check the file signature in case you've download the software.

email/macro viruses is STILL a VIRUS or an EXPLOIT to any system.. an Exploit is an exploit and is consider a security flaw or system flaw as far as i know.

for your sake ill use google.
virus on linux - Hanapin sa Google

for your sake ill use another search engine:
linux virus - Yahoo! Search Results

    and another search engine:
LINUX virus found - Live Search
    linux virus - Cuil

    caught with Linux Virus ELF_ROOTKIT

hmm lets use another word: malware

linux malware - Hanapin sa Google
Linux Malware On The Rise - InternetNews.com

    how bout spyware:

    more? use Google

    should we start on MAC?

    Quotes:
who writes virus for systems(MACs) with only few users?
who writes virus for geek users? (Linux)
    answer:

    Typical hackers will answer:
nah! forget it! ill just write virus for windows since its API is easy to understand, widely used and i can be popular to millions (.. and millions) of users around the planet.

expect this: there are more people buying MAC boxes now therefore more exploits and virus(even for iPhones) are being discovered.
Have you heard about the latest Safari security flaw? probably WLA, most of the news site online are apple fanatics.. Probably kng nag monitor mo sa mga updates and bug reports from apple then makahibaw mo..
