    Consciousness according to Quantum Physics is the ground of all being. This is very spiritual according to the view of Physicist Dr. Amit Goswami!

    Science and Spirituality in essence are fundamentally united not separate but ONE! Even Quantum Physicists accept the idea that Consciousness is the the ground of all being. Therefore, ONE - the essence of unity!

    Give a man a fish, and you’ll feed him for a day; Give him a religion, and he’ll starve to death while praying for a fish.

    I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ.

    it would have been better if you provide a definition of "spirit" and "spiritual."

    Also, there is no such thing as pure agnosticism, it either slides to more theistic or more atheistic.

    have you formally/informally studied Mahatma's 'ideology' ? Useless without a trigger man? ignorance does seem to take its toll to the anti-religious dogmatists, to generalize religion as if there is a clear definition of what religion is and how it is may or may not be different from spirituality. I dont see why mahatma came to this discussion. so whats your next 'simple' logical analogy?

    Its not simple because it does not even connect. Non sequitur. Its a fallacy, no?

    my dear mr. child sorry for the confusion, i called you mahatma as a sign of respect, its a sanskrit word in english a master or adept; im addressing you that because you seem to be one; again however much we define religion or even atheism to its own declared meaning & use it would still very much dependent on the person using it, the point here is the capacity of the "individual/group of human being" either to use or misuse anything, whether its religion, philosopphy, psychology, gun or dick.
    I dont see any complex mental requirement in this mode of thinking; this is not even the discussion as to w/c is better god or no god; as to w/c is better meat or vegetables; again the point here is the human capacity to USE or MISUSE,
    Ingun pa nila: "a thing/system is as beneficial or dangerous as the person using it" & if i may add-
    its useless when no one is using it.

    a very enlightened observation of mahatma gandhi, the reputation of a religious group at a times is being marred by its followers, i knew of people who are true christians though more often than not they dont even talk about jesus, but their way of living reflects that of what jesus want them to live; to my understanding its a disgrace to jesus (if im his believer) to keep on using his name and in the meantime being stupid to my daily affair, And very judgemental to other religion;
    A point to consider, the phils. has the most number of Christian population in asia & we are the 3rd most corrupt country in the whole world but number 1 in asia, wow thats something of an achievement,
    I just wonder where should we practice our religion, inside my head, inside the church?
    what about translating it to our daily life, to our relationship.
    Im not blaming Christian religion for having corrupt members (not all ha pero daghan, apil nako ana aron walay mahay)
    Sige para walay away si SATANAS nalang atong pasanginlan, basin gisugo ni si satanas sa lain religion aron mada-ut ang christian religion, yes i think that will settle the issue, AMEN

    oh is that so, your extravagant expression of respect has led me to confusion. I'm sorry. please, call by my nick, mahatma makes me soooooo old.
    I shouldnt have asked for another analogy, now your giving me: gun or dick.
