you can't tell that to a theist that has a tendency or has already imbibed fundamentalistic ideals into his belief...your words will only fall on deaf ears..they thrive on senseless arguments that leads to bashing and mud slinging in which they are very1,000,000,000x good at..i know the drill...at first they'll give short but smug and arrogant remarks..that's the trap..then if you spring the trap..then sorry ka nlang..i fall for it many times that's why lisod na.
as to your first post..yes i do agree with you..that's why i ended my little debate with SuperBisdak..like i said to my last reply to him..we can't play in each other's playground..so that's why i had to stop it..
@traditz
good..but unfortunately Hitler is christian that's his brand..murag pan-os nga pagkaon..no matter how you classify that spoiled food..no matter how spoiled or naunsa na na...it's still food..it's just not fit for eating..hilter was christian in brand but he went mad and got "spoiled" no matter how unchristian his acts were but still he was a christian..well enough with hitler..he was an a-hole!
Athiests lacks the belief in the existence of a God or Deity. The keyword there is lacks. It's like this if you are a Christian you have your own definition of God right? But Muslims has their own definition of God. But as a Christian you lack belief that the Muslim God exists. So in some way you are an Atheist to the Muslim God. So in some similar fashion Atheism is the lack of belief in the existence of any God or Deity. Since Agnosticism affirms that no one has knowledge on the existence or non existence of a God [lacks belief] then it has to be a subset of atheism.
agnosticism is not a subset to atheism.
Also, there is no such thing as pure agnosticism, it either slides to more theistic or more atheistic.
have you formally/informally studied Mahatma's 'ideology' ? Useless without a trigger man? ignorance does seem to take its toll to the anti-religious dogmatists, to generalize religion as if there is a clear definition of what religion is and how it is may or may not be different from spirituality. I dont see why mahatma came to this discussion. so whats your next 'simple' logical analogy?
Its not simple because it does not even connect. Non sequitur. Its a fallacy, no?
