tests are on NON RAID configs.
now i wonder, even my sata drive is almost the same as pata according to HD tach graph comparison. does partition effects the results of HD tach?

i meant the raptors for the price you pay sucks compared to the sataII hitachis for half the price
i would sugest that if you bought a drive you get the SATAII hitachis over the 36gb raptors. hope that clarify's things just my 2 cents worth
