    ako lang is even if common sense na ang payment sa that time gyud, I am disappointed with how the service is portrayed by gotdalife...

    Thats cause its a private function by private individuals... Policies regarding company events are sometimes diffrent...

    And yes i do agree that only the written agreement carries weight... BUT!!!!! Deception is something else totally... its a matter of principle....

    @TS, man what a night! but u could have gotten better leverage if your organizers did a better job. apparently, they failed assessing from ur post. hopefully i'm wrong & u'r company could take legal actions. no matter what the practices of other establishments are, what matters is what ur organizer & pier one agreed on, & in black&white, ur organizers did put that in black&white, aite?

    and, nxt time, it's better to omit the word 'boycott' & the likes, just post ur experience/review, we'll take it from there.

    Wala pa ko kasulay sa Pier 1 pero akong POV, naa pod siguro sayop ang organizer. From the beginning, angay gisigurado niya na tanan agreement ay written og gireview gyud niya og maayo, dili lang verbal. I would agree though, na usahay man gud, kung verbal, madala ka sa promises sa imong kasabot so you tend to agree, pero pagwritten na, lain na diay. If TS is the organizer, maayo siguro, go bacl to the written agreement, kung nakasuwat pod didto ang inyong giexpect. Ang ako-a man gud, if the manager will allow you also to go out without paying, he might end up losing his job or paying for the stuff, kay pwede man pod that the other party will not pay. basig gani ang manager, wala kahibaw unsa pod ang agreement between the party and the restaurant.

    Usa pod, whoever is the organizer or maybe the person who holds the check, if he needs to leave early, should have made sure na wala nay bayronon,
