@erwin_rommel, I agree that you could save a bit if you chose an e7200 and a cheap mobo rather that an overclocked e2160 and a pricer mobo, but I doubt if they have the same performance because a cheap mobo and a pricer mobo dont have the same chipsets. Overclocking the CPU is different from overclocking the RAM, they are two different operations. Hense, you are only stressing the CPU and not the RAMs. And lastly, I still believe that the temperatures is a hardware killer not the overclock. If you have a stock heatsink, you would know that an e7200 would idle at 44c and load at 60c. My overclock e2180 would Idle at 30c and load at 50c, so which CPU would last longer? Anyway, to each his own, its your money.
