morality is when you can distinguish right from wrong. like i said in my previous posts, atheism is a BELIEF. as to their ability to distinguish what is good from bad, that's not the question at all. MORALITY is a totally different subject. it is IMPOSSIBLE to correlate morality from atheism.

you see there are 2 Simons there but jesus clearly distinguish both of them separately..
1st Simon was given the name Peter by jesus choice
2nd Simon the Cananean

In these passages, 'Cephas' is given as the nickname of the apostle better known as Simon Peter. The Greek word is transliterated Κηφᾶς (Kēphâs).

The apostle's given name appears to be Simon, and he is given the Aramaic nickname, kêfâ, meaning 'rock'.


therefore, there is no doubt that peter is "rock" because in aramaic his nickname is "Cephas" and that nickname according to the bible was given to him by jesus of nazareth. his name was simon, it was jesus who renamed/nicknamed him kephas/cephas (meaning rock). so rcruman you better give us a good explanation why peter is not rock when that nickname was given to him by your very own lord jesus.
