i understand what atheist means. but what i don't understand is why they're posting too much nonsense/off topics on this thread. to refresh your memory guys.... i'll quote the first post for everybody.

kay di lagi na peter, jesus spoke aramaic, it's kepas/cephas which means "bato". gamay o dakong bato, it doesn't matter ang punto diri kay ang iya ngalan si simon pero gitawag sya ni jesus na "kepas/cephas". ug ang kephas kay bato. pasabot gihimo syang bato ni jesus mismo. tan-awa na gud ninyo si abram gihimo man pud syang abraham kay "father of all nations" lagi kuno. ug si jacob gihimong "israel" kay "father of the chosen 12 tribes" man kuno. your christian books/bible do not encourage private interpretations. it ask you to go to the shepherds of the church, the hierarchy who had the teaching authority. you may even read the whole book of peter and see that satan is being accused as the one who will lead you to interpret it to your own destruction if you will not place yourself under the hierarchy. you are told to obey the hierarchy that your God had appointed as overseers of his church. the letters to timothy and titus can show you the existence of a very well arranged hierarchy who authority is passed opn thru the laying of hands of the presbytery.

remember that your christian books gave the apostles the authority to lose and bind. that was exactly why they were able to change the rules at the council of jerusalem. it was thru that same authority that they were able to tell the christians "this is the will of God". and the christians obeyed them.
