    Default Lapu-Lapu’s most-awaited savior.

    Sun.Star Cebu - Speak out: Lapu-Lapu’s most-awaited savior

    I very well agree!

I agree but not for Pealez. I know this would come. He's an outsider, he have no passion for the people here, he is just a plain businessman. Nakabangga lang niya si Mayor Radaza kay na threatened ang iyang negosyo. There are good leaders here in Lapulapu City. The problem is, no big time political party will support them because they are not sip sip. Kabalo man ta nga kung walay political backing di jud mosaler kay election is about money man. For sale man sab gud ang mga botante diri.

But if he wants to run and make lapulapu a better city, then why not? he is more qualified than Paz Radaza or Lito Ruiz. Yes, he might be a businessman but a good businessman is what city hall or even this country needs. Let's not forget that the Pelaez's have never been entangled in any form of corruption, scandal or controversy.

There might be a good number of potential leaders in lapulapu but they don't have the resources and machinery and in this country, you really need those 2 to win.

I am aware that majority of the lapulapu voters can be bought, then that only proves that people in lapulapu deserves a corrupt mayor. Mao na wa nay undang ang baha diha, water shortage, lamp post issue, computer scandal, drugs and prostitution, SOP in city hall, etc.

If these people will continue to stay in power, the mutli-national locator companies will probably move somewhere else, the SRP perhaps and the resorts will die a natural death because the expats will move out of mactan.

FYI: mutli-national locator companies or companies under MEZ are protected by law. Bisag unsa pay mahitabo sa Local Govt sa Lapu-Lapu City dili maapiktohan ang mga companya under MEZ. And so is MCIA Kay basin moingon pud nya ka nga mobalhin sab sila.

What happened there has nothing to do with the local govt. The problem there was within.
