for most people who doesnt make it in any MLM, or for any business for that matter, chances are, its something bad for everybody according to that person. Like for example, let say MLM, if they make lots of money, whether ethically or pangingilad, they would say alot of good things about it, but if they fail, then all hell breaks loose of bad-mouthing that certain MLM, and again for any business for that matter. Its actually in psychology, looking at a piece of white bond paper with a dot in the middle, a normal person would see the dot, not the whiteness of the paper (Mum, i remember you to be very good at this). And this human nature of ours most of the time makes us the person we hate the most.

I was just wondering, what if these people here who are against this industry, just by chance, happen to have made a large sum of money from MLM, would they still be saying the same things as they are now?

And what if people who likes the MLM industry, just by chance, happen to have failed terribly and painfully in MLM, would they still be saying the same things as they are now?

If the answers to these 2 questions are NO, then i would say, humans as we all are, we are all HYPOCRITES.

Any violent reactions to these statement would be greatly welcomed. I understand, becoz sumtyms i know i also am being a hypocrite. Its what we are. Its one of our imperfections. Its in our nature to be so.

but anyway, like i said, I was just wondering...
Bai ayaw lagi cgi iningles kay dili ko kasabot, pagbinisaya tawn boss kay istorya ba neh dili STORY........

    LOST IN TRANSLATION - )

My regards to Ms. d'monyita. nice thoughts you have and if i may add, impartial 99%, 1% partial .

    Just a little background:
I work for a fashion retail company [founded in Cebu] and we are a hall of famer in the retail industry. Two of our brands are hall of famer and two were awarded as most promising brands of the PRA - Philippine Retail Association. Our company is now 22 years old in the retail industry.

We tied up with Natasha to test the market and learn the ins and outs of direct selling [for many of us we misconstrude it "scam" "pyramiding" instead of networking BUSINESS].

    What were our learnings:
    1. Direct selling is very complex and flexible [it is not for everyone]. To succeed, you need to adapt to changes.
    2. Control the marketing plan [or the networking or earning ways of dealers] in such a way it will not limit the business to the mercy of the networker but rather, making your products as the primary business driver. "Traditional MLMs mostly have no brands/products of their own".
    3. Redefine the markerting plan, make it single level instead of multi-level. Meaning, a network manager fill only earn rebates from the first recruite [note singular form]. Why we did it this way, because we know our products are good .
    4. Do not stop building brands.

Having said that, few of our objectives are:
    a. expand the business and our brands to a larger market niche which we cannot cover in the boutiques at the malls [traditional business form]
    b. of course, increase our top and bottom lines
    c. provide income opportunities and be partner in development, commonly know as providing or creating value.

After the tie-up, we ventured into direct selling this year by openind a subsidiary direct selling company.

I agree that there are many scams wherein the MLM concept was used/abused as framework. Many were blinded by the promises of earning big money. Funny but, if you look around, there were people who were even scammed thru text messaging telling them them you won 1 million pesos and deposit 20K as processing fee. Opportunist are everywhere, so do not be victimized by them.

As Jpacs said, we are all networkers. What we are doing in this site is NETWORKING guys. Networking is a way of life, in business, in school as in anywhere. One mentioned about mineral water and rice. Mineral water sold through dealers is a form of networking, only that, it is not MLM. The rewards system of the Mall technically is netwroking, because they want customers to come back.

Having a nice car, a house or going to the saloon everyday is a life style. Life style is a choice. It varies from one person to another. And one thing is thru, you cannot make life for everyone, not even your own children, you just need to respect it and be at peace with it. Our growth is dependent or how far we look forward.

So let's make our discussions are healthy and let's be open to opinions. Let's make the site a place of learning and growing thru networking.

NO I won't tell you now what our products are. I will just post if in a different thread to avoid conflict of interest in the name of integrity. So much has been said in the exchanges here kasi. I can only assure you that we are not and we will not be the type that drove some of us to hate the MLM concept.

You can earn thru direct selling if your personality is designed for it. If not, do not be involve because it will not make you a better person. Less, it will make you a bitter person.

    Regards to all
