@d'monyita: Grabe mo mum!!! i have just been observing this thread since i got back. Quite frankly, was surprised by you bursting it out like an old sleeping volcano erupting and releasing all its energy from decades of slumber... wow, morag novel (i dont read novels baya)... but i agree with you

for most people who doesnt make it in any MLM, or for any business for that matter, chances are, its something bad for everybody according to that person. Like for example, let say MLM, if they make lots of money, whether ethically or pangingilad, they would say alot of good things about it, but if they fail, then all hell breaks loose of bad-mouthing that certain MLM, and again for any business for that matter. Its actually in psychology, looking at a piece of white bond paper with a dot in the middle, a normal person would see the dot, not the whiteness of the paper (Mum, i remember you to be very good at this). And this human nature of ours most of the time makes us the person we hate the most.

I was just wondering, what if these people here who are against this industry, just by chance, happen to have made a large sum of money from MLM, would they still be saying the same things as they are now?

And what if people who likes the MLM industry, just by chance, happen to have failed terribly and painfully in MLM, would they still be saying the same things as they are now?

If the answers to these 2 questions are NO, then i would say, humans as we all are, we are all HYPOCRITES.

Any violent reactions to these statement would be greatly welcomed. I understand, becoz sumtyms i know i also am being a hypocrite. Its what we are. Its one of our imperfections. Its in our nature to be so.

but anyway, like i said, I was just wondering...

Since we have people here from the MLM industry, could you educate us how they got these expensive cars? Like do they have a monthly mortgage or does the MLM company pay the Car in full and in return the employee or their marketeer, just pays them monthly. What are their terms? Or better yet, the company just whole heartedly give these expensive cars to them?
    Thanks.

Probably j_ybanez you're right when you said what's probably bad for one, he thinks it's bad for all.

You don't have to be stabbed to know how it feels to be in that situation.

And in MLM, whether it's FLV, Igen, NuSkin, Amway, the long-dead BP.Net, Juvio or D-Load, the thought is, why won't they market the product by traditional means, like TV or radio? Why do they do it via legal pyramiding? Is it because they know the products are humorously priced so high that they need people to do the one-on-one bluffing?

And look at the percentage of failure. More than 95% failed in MLM, and it's not these people's fault at all. It's the system that is being pushed by these companies. They know that theoretically, it's impossible, yet they still push it down our throats.

If you can just answer this question satisfactorily, I won't bother you MLMers again.

What's your market, granting that, for instance, a binary marketing scheme is perfectly implemented in a month?

Just a simple answer. What's your market?

as far as ive noticed, "mlm" companies that originated here in the philippines are the ones employing the binary or what we usually call "pyramiding" schemes.

networking is used by most companies than the traditional way since it spreads the products faster and it also helps some common folks, like you and me, financially.

how do we define "fail" in networking? most people say that they failed since they wasnt able to achieve what they aimed for, simply because people have this notion that networking is a "get-rich-quick-scheme", so they dont work for it. but for me, theres a little risk in networking, if you just bank at the right company simply because the investment, capital, or whatever we call it is much, much lesser than starting a "traditional" business. so if you put enough, or more effort, you'll be having ROI definitely. i've been into network marketing for maybe a long time, and i've seen those people who are really commited and who stay really succeed, maybe not that big, but they really earn even though they do it part time

theres money in networking, if we just go for the right company and work hard for it strategically and whole heartedly.

Ok lets agree on some issues here...

Kung ang produkto overpriced .... are you getting what you paid for?

If you are not getting what you paid for ... di ba giilad na ka?

neways, this threaed should have died a long time ago

    You're misquoting me.

I did not categorically say that all MLMs, whether local or foreign-based are scams.

I am saying that MLM in its theoretical sense is an impractical approach to selling, and as a result, is doomed to fail no matter how you improve it.

You can always review my previous post regarding a binary system and how it will almost saturate every human being after a month's time.

Of course, at one time in my life, I was so biased for MLM. I even joined one that died about 3 years ago. There is money, but the people who will generate those money for you the first time won't be fooled again the second time. And talk about products. How do you sell a soap that's priced about P 300.00 (sige granting nga P 150.00) nga pampawagtang sa bugas (kuno), only to find out there are more effectived soaps out there that are priced less than 1/3?

How do you sell a Multivitamin for about P 15.00 per piece, only to find out nga someone is disputing the product's effectiveness because they have tried another product which is priced at around P 7.50 and contains just about the same ingredients?

Clearly, the only way to make money in MLM is to believe the hype that their products are superior, and as a result, riding unconsciously on the bandwagon that products need to be overpriced to shell out a very high commission to dealers.

That's not bias Sir Lokster. I have seen and experienced it myself.
