I stumbled on this VIDEO insinuating that "Oprah denies Jesus" for believing that there are a "million" roads to heaven other than Christianity.

Of course, you wouldn't budge an inch [with respect to Oprah's views] if you've already chained yourself in the Bible or to an exclusive dogma that "only Jesus saves," would you?

BUT who do you think is held accountable for those who rather choose to fall out of Christianity or have chosen to become atheists for forcing "God's words" unto their mouths [as if they were the only words ever spoken by God since day one]? Or is it because our ministers/church leaders wanted us to believe that there's no other safer route to heaven other than what they say or what the Bible teaches?

IMHO, it's also rather too demeaning that God's greatness and universality has been confined to and by what we know of Him in the scriptures and the teachings of men. Why can't we see God in the silence and magnificence of nature? Why can't we choose to see God's greatness and presence in the sincere hearts of others who are not necessarily Christians?

One more thing...Sometimes it is easy to fall out of Christianity because you don't know who's telling the truth.

Imagine there are more than 23,000 Bible-believing denominations and all of them claim to know where the road to salvation is but couldn't even find their way to agree among them. Pathetic.

some christians would forceably impose their own beliefs to others, to the point that they are the only one who is right, and that because they know the bible that much those in contradict with what they believe in is eventually wrong...

Wow, what a heated exchange. But I think that can't be helped sometimes; religion can be a very personal issue for many.

I heard an author once said that Jesus was only making a reasonable claim when he said, "I am the way, the truth and the life; no one comes to the Father but through me." He said that truth is mutually exclusive, and that all religions, though they have some points of similarities, essentially have different truth claims. So I guess that means that not all of them can be true at the same time. Only one is true. The question is, which one? Someday I really want to find out for myself if that is really true, that each religion have basically different truth claims, etc., when I can find the time to do it. But there are so many other things that are more urgent hehe...
