Visit Neo Galaxy Shop again, call the shop first, look for Sir Nelson. Maybe there is a problem with your Lens Mechanism. I've encountered the same problem before on my friends PSP.

Don't open or change any settings first.

i bought a psp slim piano black from neo galaxy last aug 18, 2008. thats last week monday.

i always play games through the memory card and i never tried the umd. but yesterday i got the chance to try my friend's umd (nfs:mw), and it wouldnt work!... It will load (with the loading icon in the lower right), and i could feel a slight motion, but it doesnt show up, and after a minute, it will say that the UMD cannot be read.
It works fine on my friend's PSP slim (orig firmware by the way)...

im going to look for a umd and try it again. is it possible that its not compatible with mine?? It should work, right? maybe it's defective?

i never touched any firmware or any system setting

I dont really use the UMD but knowing that it should be working bothers me... ill try a few UMDs tomorrow and ill see whether somethings wrong.

regarding this matter about the umd. try testing other umd. if the results is still the same. if you have the time try bringing it back to the shop & the umd of your friend.

hey sir neos. thanks for the concern but everything's fine. i tried 5 other UMDs kanina and they all worked to my relief... whew! im very happy and satisfied now

by the way why do you think my other friend's UMD na need for speed most wanted wouldnt work on mine? He's using orig firmware pa but its loads fine on his but not mine
