It's so sad that religion has been used negatively to sow fear among its flock than to herald God's infinite soft side. His unconditional love and compassion is buried by his being unfairly portrayed like an executioner who throws anyone in that fiery chasm if you don't follow orders. Religion transmutes Him to a traffic cop who does nothing but watches every jaywalker or red light beater than a friend who never leaves you in the street alone.
