Thread: Interview Tips

  1. #21

    Having interviewed applicants before, I think it is also important to stress out the positive contribution an applicant has that is not in the resume. You should be able to point out key strengths and weaknesses that the HR personnel can use when making decisions.

    kani lng ai...

    1. kung mo answer ka sa question.. yaw paghikohiko nga mura kag kiko...

    2. tan-awa sa mata ang interviewer kung mo-answer sa question (kana ba mura mo nagtalk and not

    questioning)

    3. be presentable in carrying yourself

    4. sit straight yaw cge langas.

    5. pangutana sa uban istoryan kung unsa pa... (hehe!)

    btaw d 4 steps above are basics pero usahay dili ta makahimo....

    what is it with HRs and applicants?

    why tell applicants to wait for phone calls that never come? wouldnt it be easier to say: "we're not gonna hire you, get out!"

    * * *

    catharsis time:

    i'm pissed off...

    why? until now, i'm still jobless...damnit! what does it take to be hired ba?

    like i always ace entrance exams given by companies, but get stuck up in the final interview...oh come on...i know, you see that i'm applying for the job for the sake of having a job...at least i'm honest...

    what about your other employees? what makes you so sure that they're gonna lay down their lives for your company?

    is it because i'm not a good actor that i cant convince that you i want to spend the rest of my days working for you--even if i do not? but hey, these days, who wants to? (or maybe i'm not good looking enough? do i not dress good enough? well you better place the words 'modeling agency' right after your company's name...that ought to help some applicants)

    it sucks seeing a lot of people getting positions that i covet when i know for a fact that i'm better than many of them...

    come on, give this one poor guy a favor...i need a job for an excuse to get out of home and stay out late...i may not promise you my loyalty--heck, i bet half of your employees arent that loyal either--but i can assure you that for the time i'll be spending working for you, you'll be getting your money's worth and more...

    kasabot ko nimo brad... pero sometimes.. mag bantay man sad na ang HR sa personality and behavior sa tao... most HR are Psych grads or even Masters so they mostly know what they are doing..choosing a person to hire is indeed a company's investment so they have to make sure that the person they hire is indeed dedicated to work for them... wala lang stress lang ko to balance things

    basta mao lang ni akong ma tambag... "kung dili jud para imoha ... aw dili lang jud cguro na para imoha"

    ngano man? kay di ko maayo mo-acting?

    klaro pud baya kaayo na kasagaran sa mga mang-apply ni-apply lang pud para maka-trabaho sila, just like me...dili lang gyud tingali convincing akong: "i want to contribute to your company's growth" ek-ek kompara sa uban...

    kani serious ni without sarcasm, uso pa diay karon ang 'old-fashioned'/traditional approach sa interview na pa-formal-formalan ang show?

    * * *

    bitaw uy, magbinuotan na lang kaha ko...ingon pa sa akong lola: "pagbuot gyud na ni Lord na way modawat nimo...hilas man gud kaayo ka" hahahaha

    lisod gyud ning mag-aspire na kontrabida sa corporate world...unya na lang puhon...hehehe

    ^ no offense bitaw brad... based from the way you talk.. full of sarcasm and arrogance man gud.. so ang HR mag duha duha jud.. true jud na cya nga naa tendency mang resign ang mga tao.. pero atleast we should take note why we need to be accepted sad sa company....
