lagi lagi...kasabot nakos capacitor...kato isa ka pangutana nako...


unsaon sad pag bagay bagay sa amplifier ug subwoofer para nindot ug labas? kinsa man naay knowledge bahin aning butanga...palihog ko share beh...

kung gusto ka ug nindot ug tingog kinahanglan ka ug eqx or crossover(para mka bagay-bagay ka sa sounds),
speakers for mid high ,mid bass,tweeter ug sub woofer,kinahanlan dako ug power imo amp para sa sub,
kung sq jud imo ganahan e sealed imo box sa imo subs..

Most amps karon naay built-in X-overs ... just make sure to set your X-over under 100hz ... ako-a, I tune my sub channel at around 80 hz ...
By the way - make sure you set your gains right.. kay tingalig ma clip nimo imong amo or masunog imong voice coil sa imong sub. NOTE: the gain knob is not a volume control.

Capacitor: Mo store na siya ug power so pag once and mo hatag ug power sa imong amp ug kinahanglan (especially inig hapak sa imong subwoofer). It prevent your lights from dimming or your battery from draining. Actually ang power cap dili man gyud ang best remedy ani - ug pwede, upgrade kas imong alternator sa awto to prevent power shortages.

Anyhow - rule of thumb sa power cap. 1 Farad = 1000 watts of power from the amp.

As far as sa imong sub ug amp - make sure imong sub gibutang sa proper enclosure. Enclosure should be built according to the sub's specs (T/S parameters). The easiest way is to go with a sealed enclosure `cause not a lot of tuning is involved. Pero the best way is to go with a ported enclosure unya tuned port - port should be tuned under 30 hertz for SQ (sound quality), 30+hz for SPL (sound pressure level = pakusog). Pangita ug maayo nga box designer/builder para ma maximize nimo ang capability sa imong sub.
Take note: Subwoofers differs from one to the other .. they all act differently to the space they're given to work with... so dili ka maka gamit ug bisag unsa lang nga enclosure and expect your subwoofer to perform well.

As for the amp .... set your crossover to maybe 80hz and under then set your gains accordingly. If dili ka kabalo mo set sa gains, mao ni ang basic procedure:
1- crank your head unit volume up to 3/4 max
2- turn your gains up til it the sound starts to distort a little bit
3- turn the gains down a notch from distortion level

1 Farad ra akong cap .. hugaw akong install - pasensya lang kay ako-ako ramay mo install sa akong system gud.

OT: libog jud ko anang subwoofer ba...ngano mahal ng uban nya mao ra ug specs sa uban sub nga mas baratu pa kaayo...samay naka nindot ana niya nga gamay man ug wattage noon compare sa uban? na intriga lang ko...naman sad gud set-up ako sakyanan pero wala ko kahibaw ug unsa nga klase ni...basta pair 12" hehe

OT: Prehag specs meaning power handling? ... there's more to speaker specs kaysa power handling ra.. and most cheap brands exaggerate the specs on their products, especially the power output on their amps and the power handling on their subs.

Example: cheaper brands would rate their subs at 1000 watts pero inig run nimo sa subs ug 500 watts, mo aso lang ug kalit ang voice coil after 10 minutes.

Naa sa amp ... pero power fluctuates - depende sab na sa power nga gihatag gikan sa battery.
Let's say ang imong amp is rated at 100 watts @ 12v then 150 watts @ 14.4v.. pero ang power nga ihatag sa imong amp
from your battery is hardly constant. Usahay mo naog na niya depende ug naay laing electronics nag dagan sa imong awto.
Ug magpa andar ka sa imong A/C, headlights, wiper, etc mo naog sab ang power gikan sa battery to your amp, therefore mo naog sab ang power nga gi put out sa imong amp padung sa sub. Ug gusto ka nga imong amp mo function at its optimum
rated capacity, best thing to do is to upgrade your vehicle's alternator and maybe add a secondary battery.
