    sis lahi man ni na instance kay ang issue ani regarding man sa computation of 13th month pay of a separated or resigned employee.

    ang deal lng jd kay 13th month pay is based on what u earned. sakto ka na basic. pro sakto sad to si june na kon wla ka gbayaran sa imo salary kay absent or late ka dli na mkwenta na earnings nmo..

    to make it more clear sis..

    "basic salary" has been interpreted to mean, not the amount actually received by an employee, but 1/12 of their standard monthly wage multiplied by their length of service within a given calendar year.

    mao diay ang gihatag na meaning sa implementing guidelines nga earned.

    So sa imong na experience, ma kwaan jud imong 13th month if naa kay leave without pay, absent or late? If this is the case, well I'm very sorry to hear that coz karon pa jud ko kadungog ug ing-ani. Sa akong mga companies na agi-an, 13th month is actually just one month's basic salary without any deductions resulting from absences or tardiness (but i'm not sure if this still applies to extended leaves ha like a month or two).

    did i say akong experience? are we talking about experiences or interpretation sa law? kay kung experiences ato basihan, dili jud ta magkadimao.

    did I say tis the meaning of earned?? and again "it is not the amount actually received" therefore not what is earned but the basic salary per se...
