In what sense is it better? Because to me that tells of unreliability. The Quran has only one author, the bible has 40 authors living in different times yet they tell of the same redemptive story. That's corroboration. The Quran doesn't have that. Regarding versions, those are translations. They don't affect the whole story and we can verify the reliability of the translation by looking at the manuscripts.


It's an evidence of divine inspiration instead of a problem. Like I said, corroboration. Had God did it your way it would be very difficult to defend the bible's reliability. The case is much stronger if we have different people telling a cohesive story than when you have only one person narrating what happened.

No, I said they narrate a cohesive story so there is corroboration. I never said anything about choosing the books. You sure you know who the disciples of Jesus are? The first book of NT would have refuted that assumption.

How can I know that what's been written are accurate, well, there are external sources, secular sources that are hostile to Christianity, that confirms some NT events. Another is if Christianity was based on a lie it would have died a long time ago. Nobody would die for a testimony you know is not true. Many witnesses died and they're willing to die because they saw it happened and would not recant their testimony. Paul is saying I'm a witness but if you doubt my testimony there are hundreds others that you can ask whether what I said is true or not.
