Just Need A Piece Of Advice, Please Dont Flame Me

Hi Istoryans,

Just need some expert advice here. Please dont flame me if sayop ang thread ako na postingan.

I started to open my business just last January 2017 this year, hired two of my friends because I thought I've helped them by giving them job. The business is optimising 16 websites of my client. So, I trained these friends since December until January about link building.

Here's what happened: last March when my client in US is randomly checking their work, however bad thing happen because some of link building task done were all incorrect for some sites. My client was so upset that his clients as well ended the contract and loose its 9 clients out of the 16 sites that we're handling.

As a result, I got fired as his contractor and didn't get paid and have to start from scratch and look for an office base job. The problem arise when I have to pay these two friends of mine half of their month salary, and asked them to wait until I will have the funds para mahatag nako sa ilaha ang other half sa ilang salary. However, what happened is they have been sending me messages, even their wife asking for the money and that it was also my fault that I havent checked their task and even to the point cursing me. I'm planning to ask for maybe "legal" advice, or something about this. Thus, will ask also your humble opinion on what would be better sa ako situation karon. I asked them to wait until May til I get my first salary from the company Im working right now though I'm thinking maybe I have the right not to give them the last half of their month's salary since because of them I loose everything as well? , Note: we don't have any contract signed or NDA signed.

by gesture, you should pay them since you HIRED THEM. the problem was you have overlooked the entire operation of your business.

if simple task like links were not done properly , how much more if things gets more complicated?.

Ang nahitabo lang jud sa imoha is... nag-hire ka nga wala pa ka'y pundo.
So wala jud ka'y buffer kung muboto like this.

Then once naa na ka'y earnings nga nadawat, use that as buffer.
Nya hire dayon for those nga dili nimo madala og trabaho or mga spill-offs bah.

Respondeat Superior ts. The master will always be liable for his employee. They did the work. Granted it was not good work pero they still have a right to get paid. Learn from your mistake nalang. Next time commision based imong pag bayad and dili per day para tarongon ug maau.

Sakto tong ni post sa babaw nga commission base nalang jd imong hatag sa imong e hire sunod para kung magkina-unsa dili ka maapiki. Og bayari nalang to kay ikaw mismo sd ang sayop, wala nimo na check ilang g work which is imong responsibility.

lessons learn nlng jd na bos... bxta kwarta gane ang hisgutan bisag friends pa or kapamilya wa nay geila... huna2x segoro ato nila is wa man nimu sila saktoha ug bayad so dili lang pud sila magtinarong ug trabaho, nya wala sad kay mahemu ana kay suma sa imung ge.ingon wala moy contract, wala kay mabuhat nga legal actions kung unsang sayop ilang gebuhat and same pud na nga dili sila kagukod nimu sa wala paghatag sa half sa sweldo.
